We have clear criteria for funding applications, but are prepared to consider expressions of interest from charitable or other non-profit organisations for larger amounts that fall outside these criteria. Any proposal must:

 

* Be for the benefit of the residents of Aylesbury Vale.

* Meet our aims in promoting sport, health, social welfare, culture and/or education.

* Be for an amount not exceeding £100k.

 

Priority will be given to proposals that:

 

* Educate, encourage or inspire others to take up sport or adopt a positive healthy lifestyle.

* Seek funding which would be critical to the success of the project.

* Are sustainable.

 

Expressions of interest should be kept to no more than 2 sides of A4 and clearly state the objectives of the proposal, which groups would benefit and how many, key financial data (particularly financial viability), an outline programme plan and timetable, and contact details of whom we might contact for further information. Additional documentation may be included. We appreciate that some groups may not be able to produce a corporate type business case and we do not expect this, but each application must cover the points above.
